Summer Patio Decor

Lemme start by saying I have NEVER had a covered back patio  or porch. I have always wanted one and I swore up and down I would have one in our “next” house.

This went on for a few moves with no avail.

UNTIL RAVENSTONE.

As I was pinning away inspiration for our back patio, there were only three things I was certain of:

  1. Cafe string lights were a must,
  2. Sheer curtains needed to happen,
    • you can see the DIY on how I did that here.
  3. I wanted lemons everywhere.

Here is what I ended up with for our summer back patio decor!

I searched endlessly for the right outdoor pillows. I FINALLY found bright lemon-y pillows for the back patio on Society 6.

They had so many pillows I almost changed my mind on the lemons!

Most of my back patio furniture came from Walmart

When the curtains are blowing around in the wind, I just melt. It’s so beautiful!

During the heat of the day, I just hang out under the fans with the babes, pretending I am at the beach!

Next week, I will be revealing my easy tips for FRONT porch decor and curb appeal!

This is amazing and inspiring me to do the same thing! Love how easy it is 🙂 any suggestions for weighing down the curtains? I do like them billowy and flowing in the wind, but wondering on extra windy days, if you’ve done anything to help with them flying all over the place! Thanks!!

Thank you so much! For windy days, I usually knot them on themselves or knot them around a post! I’ve considered putting a weight in the loops on the bottom of the curtain panel but haven’t quite figured out how to make it work! If I do, I’ll definitely update you!!
