My Cozy (but neutral) Fall Decor

After nearly a year hiatus from all things social media, I am refreshed and back – just in time for fall decor!

Last year I was all about the minimal fall decor – you can check out my porch last year here.

But this year, I am feeling all things cozy. I also discovered magnolia leaves and just haven’t let up on those! They have completely replaced all things eucalyptus in my life. I’d throw you some links for the wreaths but my favorite actually came from hobby lobby!

The magnolia garlands and magnolia stems I love come from Michaels.

I used 2 garlands intertwined together for a fuller look. I also love multifunctional decor pieces because it’s less work for me and less stuff to store!

I keep this fireplace garland up through Christmas!

I also love the versatility and neutrality of white pumpkins.

TIP: I shoved a bunch of older colored pumpkins in the bottom of the basket since you can’t see them. It helped me make the basket fuller while only having to buy SOME white pumpkins! Nobody will ever know.

You could even put another blanket in the bottom to fill the basket!

Now onto the porch!

I finally found a tall piece that can be used year round!!! I bought this little black ladder – similar to the one I DIY’ed for the inside of my house and I wrapped it in café lights! It really makes my tiny porch (let’s be real, it’s basically a stoup), cozy and inviting!

I’ve got the lights on a smart plug and I set it on a schedule so it’s not on all day long.

Another TIP: BUY THE SMART PLUGS

I use them for EVERYTHING. My smartest parent hack ever was to use the smart plug for your kid’s non smart sound machines and set them on timers. I also use them for front and back porch lights and a random garage light. I love them sooooo much!

Once I bought some real pumpkins, I dropped em right on the porch to add even more fall color!

I’ll be back soon – maybe with a Thanksgiving table setting!

Cheers!
