Did you know an Olive Tree is one of the oldest symbols in the world? I didn’t. I thought they were really pretty, bought one on a whim, and then later learned what the olive tree symbolized!
It symbolizes peace, fertility, wisdom, success, and prosperity.
Incredible, right?!
I have a real olive tree on my back porch and a faux olive tree in my living room.
I learned the hard way that it is hard to keep a real olive thriving indoors. They need a LOT of direct sunlight and not a lot of water.
They also need toddlers to stay away from them (my first real olive tree took a beating from my littles once upon a time).
