With all the changes in our house lately, I wanted to drop some photos of our sweet, french style dining room.
Each piece in the dining room has been carefully thought about. Once the floors have been replaced to a light, wide plank oak, and the ceiling has been painted white, I’ll call this room complete.
I took a risk on this chandelier. I have never purchased something so elegant and dramatic, all at the same time. I am thrilled with it.
The dining room cabinet deserved an entire post. You can see that here.
The hydrangeas took my breath away.
I love these over-sized black chairs too. They are tall and draw your eyes up towards the chandelier.
We love to build round dining tables but we haven’t mastered a pretty pedestal. This dining table is from Home Depot online in the color Antique Grey.
We spend a LOT of time in the dining room.
I love all of the natural light we get here and how cozy it is!!

They held up very well but I JUST sold them and bought some new ones from World Market. They were pretty light compared to solid wood chairs. What did you end up doing?
How did the chairs hold up? I am looking for something that does not feel cheap.
